Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, Charleston City Council Board will meet at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the South Charleston Municipal Court Building. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 520 Kanawha Blvd.

The American Red Cross will sponsor a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the John Amos Power Plant, Winfield Road, Winfield. The agency will also sponsor a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Ticketmaster, 1000 Corporate Landing.

CAMC Family Resource Center will have an open-house reception to celebrate its 20th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital. Mountain Mission will sponsor a Christmas sale from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the activity building at 1620 Seventh Ave. Trees, decorations, ornaments, wreaths and more. Kanawha County Adult Reading Program will have training sessions for adult tutors from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at RESA III, 501 22nd St. Both sessions are required to become a certified literacy tutor. Dinner will be provided on Friday and lunch on Saturday.

HospiceCare will have its 11th Annual Toast to Hospice at 7 p.m. Friday at the Alumni Center, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg. There will be wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres. An auction of fine wines and other select items will follow.
