CAMC Family Resource Center will have an open-house reception to celebrate its 20th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital. Kanawha County Adult Reading Program will have training sessions for adult tutors from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at RESA III, 501 22nd St. Both sessions are required to become a certified literacy tutor. Dinner will be provided on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
HospiceCare will have its 11th Annual Toast to Hospice at 7 p.m. Friday at the Alumni Center, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg. There will be wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres. An auction of fine wines and other select items will follow.
